It was a brief stint in the government after which she relocated to New York City. She specialized in corporate law at her new position. She appeared on T.V. It was during the aftermath of the scandal that she wrote her first novel High Crimes and Misdemeanors, The Case Against Bill Clinton. In 1998 she was also charged with plagiarism.
